Hate symbol

Thanksgiving is a symbol of what’s wrong with America. Here are a few ideas unpacking this claim.

It is an interactive symbol. Because it is a social activity, its power to reinforce hatred, even unbeknownst to the actors, is extremely effective. The holiday is the activator of brainwashing. The following are either facts or experiences which can be understood as facts.

  1. It celebrates American culture with family and friends. (Social nationalism)

There are several reasons why celebrating American culture with family and friends seems benign. The action of the holiday (celebration) — in it the understood genocide of 95 million people, and bigotry and pride which are insinuated into the camaraderie, sense of forgiveness, and sense of praising God — albeit in a generic, vague way that involves eating and spending time…
