I agree with you if you’re saying that racism can’t be solved in a class or a semester, but education is key to solving the problem of racism for future generations. As Noam Chomsky pointed out, things are better than they were decades ago. But that statement would would be more impactful if it was shared by Black people who lived through the civil rights movement and had firsthand experience in the United States in the decades following. But we also have a force working against racial unity, against peace, which is classism. It seems to me that being good toward each other and daily activity is also key to improving toward peace, and that daily activity is educated by one’s upbringing, employment, and at school.
